LA's Fire Crisis: Government Gaslighting at Its Finest
My friends, Americans are tired of being gaslit by their own government.
FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell is the latest example, claiming on CBS' Face the Nation that Los Angeles was "very prepared" for wildfires.
Really?
Which part of the story leads her to say that?
The part where a key reservoir ran dry?
The part where over 300 fire hydrants were stolen?
The part where they failed to plan how to keep pumps running when electricity to overhead power lines was cut?
Or maybe it’s the $17 million slashed from the fire department budget—while funding social justice art and a transgender bar.
Government officials, take note: Americans are DONE with incompetence and political games.
My friends, if this is "very prepared," I’d hate to see what failure looks like.
