Trump's Rising Popularity Spells (More) Trouble for the Radical Left
The Radical Left is absolutely enraged at the prospect of a second term for Donald Trump.
And as we march toward November, they are forced to face more and more evidence that this election may not be very kind to their candidate.
Bad News All Around For Biden
Everywhere they turn, they’re confronted with bad news.
According to a recent CNN poll, Biden trails Trump by 6 points nationally in a head-to-head matchup.
And the numbers are worse when third party candidates are included in the poll. When those candidates are included, Trump leads Biden by 9 points.
Biden is losing young voters. Black voters. Hispanic voters.
Trump leads Biden among married men, married women, and single men.
The only demographic Biden leads with is single women. That’s why you’re hearing so much about abortion lately. (And prepare to hear much more about it as we move through this campaign.)
We’re on the verge of a recession, with the reported First Quarter GDP at an abysmal 1.6%.
Inflation has put a back breaking strain on American families. As of March, inflation was still about twice as high as it was under Trump. And if you factor in the total consumer price inflation from January of 2020 to January of 2024, Americans are paying 19.6% more than they were.
Liberal … And Very Bitter
The bad news is apparently too much for Democratic strategist James Carville to handle.
When responding to the news that young voters were just not that interested in going to the polls and voting for Biden, Carville went ballistic. He launched into a tirade, saying:
“So I hear this a lot: ‘James, young voters are just not into this. It’s two candidates, one’s in their 80s, one is almost in their 80s’ … Oh, s**t. F**k you!”
Yikes. Take it down a notch or ten, Jimmy.
My friends, this serves as another reminder that there is no liberal not bitter voice. It just doesn’t exist. And I’m not sure it’s even logically possible.
After all, when your entire worldview is heavy on emotion and light on logic, what else do you expect?
This is precisely why, after berating young voters in his rant, Carville immediately turns to fear mongering:
“If they [Trump, MAGA Republicans, and the current Supreme Court] get a hold, there will be no government left, there will be no rights left, you will live under a theocracy, you’ll end up with Christian nationalism.”
Oh give me a break.
This is nothing but emotional manipulation.
Same Narrative, New Campaign
We’ve seen this scam before.
The American people were sold a bill of goods in 2020.
First, they were terrorized into believing that Trump was a mortal ‘threat to our democracy.’
If we re elect him, we were told by Leftist pundits, it would be the end of America as we know it.
The world would erupt into war.
The economy would completely unravel.
Chaos would plague our nation.
Violence would erupt in our streets.
The President would weaponize the government against his enemies
Putin would be emboldened.
Women would be dying in the streets because there would be no more access to healthcare.
You remember it well.
Buyer Beware
The Americans who bought this nonsensical drivel were sold a bill of goods.
The Democrats over promised and under delivered. Massively.
You could say they fell for the ole ‘bait and switch’ ploy.
They voted for Biden not because they wanted him, but because they feared these dire predictions should Trump win.
And, in the irony of ironies, they got precisely what they voted against by voting for Biden.
Those who voted for Biden had buyer’s remorse almost immediately. In fact, by September of 2021, one in five Biden voters admitted they regretted their vote.
How many more were too proud to admit the obvious conclusion: their vote for Biden was in vain?
Whatever the true numbers, that was 3 years ago.
Long before the full impact of inflation was felt.
Long before Democrat politicians complained about the burden illegal immigration was creating in their cities.
Long before Biden was falling down on every stage, bicycle, and set of stairs imaginable.
Long before the Hamas terrorists raped, murdered and kidnapped thousands of innocent people – including dozens of Americans.
Long before colleges were overtaken by the antisemitic and anti-American insurgency groups masquerading as ‘peaceful protestors.’
Long before the government was fully weaponized against Trump, the political opposition of the regime.
If you were Carville, you might be screaming, too – but hopefully without the expletives.
We are embarking upon the most contentious election of our lifetimes. If we thought 2016 and 2020 were intense, we had better reframe our thinking.
Carville’s meltdown serves as one more tiny little reminder of what is to come.
Bring it, Leftists. America is ready for your shenanigans this time.
Conservative, not bitter.
