Manchin's Trump Pardon Proposal: A Conservative Analysis

My friends, Democrat Senator Joe Manchin has an interesting suggestion for President Biden: pardon Donald Trump.

Manchin says it would balance things out after Biden’s pardon of his son, Hunter.

It’s a bold idea, and candidly, it may encourage unity for some Americans.

But let’s be real — congressional Democrats don’t want unity.

They want to obstruct Trump so that he cannot succeed at implementing his agenda.

And they need a symbolic battle to fight so they can create a narrative to set up the midterm campaign in their favor.

They’ll do whatever they have to do to accomplish that.

But hey — if Trump really wanted the pardon, perhaps he should offer to compensate "The Big Guy" through a money laundering scheme funded by political favors.
