Remembering 9/11: A Call for American Unity Once Again

My friends, where were you on this day, 23 years ago? If you're old enough, you remember exactly where you were when you first heard that the World Trade Center had been hit.

You may have watched it unfold on television at home or in a classroom. Perhaps you heard about it from coworkers, or maybe, like me, you first heard the unfathomable news on the radio. Wherever you were, you remember. You absolutely remember.

You also remember how this country united. We started treating one another better, prioritizing things differently, taking care of first things first.

As we honor and remember those we lost on 9/11, let us also remember that America has a history of uniting against evil. It's time we do it again.
