Government Inefficiency: The $10B Elevator Paper Problem

@toddhuffshow 🚨 Paper files, limestone pits, and elevators controlling retirements? My friends, you can’t make this up. Government waste at its finest. 🛗 #GovernmentEfficiency #Politics #ConservativeNotBitter #ToddTalk #AmericanTaxpayers #GovernmentWaste #ElonMusk ♬ original sound - Todd Huff

My friends, leave it to the federal government to link retirement limits to ... the speed of an elevator.

That’s right — Elon Musk recently revealed that no more than 10,000 government workers can retire each month because of how long it takes an elevator to descend to the bottom of a limestone pit where files are stored.

You heard that correctly: files. Paper files.

Apparently, government efficiency is still stuck in the 1950s.

Instead of modernizing and improving, they’ve chosen to keep things status quo.

Why? Habit? Laziness? Or maybe it’s just what happens when there’s no competition to force improvement.

But whatever the reason, my friends, it’s you — the American taxpayer — who’s stuck with the shaft. (Pun fully intended.)
