California Wildfires: When Federal Aid Meets Accountability

Donald Trump is making waves yet again, my friends.

He’s threatened to place conditions on California’s wildfire aid, and it seems this idea is starting to gain traction.

Naturally, Democrats and career politicians are furious, calling it an “unprecedented” move.

But let’s ask ourselves: when California’s policies are directly responsible for at least the extent of these disasters, is it really that crazy?

Should the American taxpayer be on the hook for what can only be described as governmental malpractice?

Or is the better remedy accountability — both for politicians and the voters who keep electing them?

Without accountability, Leftists can keep living in their la-la land of horrible policies without ever having to bear the true cost and consequences.

That’s what the American taxpayer is for, right?
