2024 Election: Will History Repeat? Every Vote Counts!
My friends, 24 years ago, America had an incredibly close presidential election.
That campaign, as you may recall, was between Al Gore and George W. Bush.
If you’re old enough, you remember the chaos.
The lawsuits.
The recounts.
The “hanging” and “dimpled” chads.
You remember poll workers holding paper ballots up to light to interpret, somehow, whether an indentation was a simple imperfection or an attempted vote for Al Gore.
This went on for weeks.
And, eventually, Bush was declared the winner of both Florida and the Electoral College.
Weeks earlier, Karl Rove predicted the election would be determined by Florida.
He was right.
Some are saying Pennsylvania is the key this time.
Are they right?
Who knows?
But the lesson is clear, my friends.
Every vote counts.
