Stack of Stuff
Each day, we produce a totally unscripted radio show and podcast. Each show is a conversation about the day’s news, headlines, talking points, and narratives.
This “Stack of Stuff” (hat tip to the late, great Rush Limbaugh) includes the background for that discussion.
Click below to access the information that Todd read in preparation for the show. While it’s not necessarily a comprehensive list, it certainly is a good start.
GOP Debates: Few Reasons To Watch
Watching the GOP debate is like watching the backup team fighting over who’s going to be the backup if Trump isn’t the nominee. It seems as if all the other candidates on the debate stage try to mimic their own inner Donald Trump in mannerisms, name-calling, and personality. It’s off-putting & embarrassing. The Senate has decided to backtrack & change its dress code.
Government Shutdown Looms
October 1, 2023, is the deadline for Congress to pass twelve bills that would fund government operations. If they are not passed, it could trigger a government shutdown. If a shutdown occurs, only “essential government workers” would remain in their departments. We discuss what it really means and who it affects.
Biden's Destructive Policies
Paul from Quora asks for examples of Biden’s destructive policies. Challenge accepted, Paul! Open borders. CBP says 11,000 illegal immigrants entered the US in 24 hours. Documents show that Biden knew of the border surge for months, yet he did nothing. CEO of Shale says that oil will skyrocket unless domestic exploration is encouraged. Inflation. Biden's campaign focused on making sure President Bribery doesn’t trip. List of jobs that exist in the Biden administration that never existed before!
WaPo Contradicts Itself
The Washington Post has a lack of concern for the truth. A new article in the WaPo contradicts its own poll. Donald Trump is ahead in their poll by 10 points. Hilary Clinton cannot bring herself to admit that she lost the 2016 election…still. On stage with Jen Psaki, Hilary complains that Russia stole that election.
The Weekend Rundown
Donald Trump gives his thoughts on the abortion debate on Truth Social.
No One Voted For This
The southern border is more porous and worse than we think. This administration is running an open border, and they know it. The Radical Left knows the politics of this & it’s being exploited.
Bidenomics Is Not The Answer
The biggest problem when it comes to the US economy is the government. The Biden impeachment inquiry will begin next week. UAW president is not happy about Donald Trump speaking to union members. A Democrat in Connecticut claims he lost an election due to voter fraud.
The Federal Debt
Federal debt eclipses $33 trillion for the first time ever. A personal update I wanted to talk about these past 2 days. Minor correction from yesterday (perhaps a show first!): 69% of Republicans now believe Biden’s 2020 election was illegitimate. Trump to skip debate #2, and speak with UAW members instead. The Left’s virtue signaling over illegal immigration is being exposed.
Trump On Meet The Press
The Radical Left is furious over the fact that Kristen Welker had Donald Trump on her show Meet the Press.
Constitution Day
Constitution Day was Sunday. This day is set aside to commemorate & celebrate the formation and the brave men who signed the U.S. Constitution in 1787. Gavin Newsom is eyeing the White House. Hunter Biden was indicted last week on federal gun charges. New York passed a law requiring background checks to purchase ammunition or antique weapons.
White House Sends Memo To MSM
The White House has sent a memo to all the major networks instructing them to spin the headlines surrounding the impeachment inquiry into President Biden. According to the WH, the President was on the business phone calls with Hunter Biden out of “love.”
Impeachment Inquiry Announced
Speaker McCarthy announces impeachment inquiry into President Bribery’s potential pay-to-play scandal. This absolutely should not be about revenge. It should be about justice and accountability. Fashion icon/Senator John Fetterman’s bizarre reaction to being asked about President Bribery’s impeachment inquiry. Tango crashes the studio.
Biden In Alaska On 9/11
President Biden spent the 22nd anniversary of 9/11 in Alaska. As Commander in Chief, Biden should have been in New York, Shanksville, or at the Pentagon. During his time in Alaska, he used his time at the podium to make jokes. There’s a time and place for everything; Biden got it wrong on all accounts. The WH made the excuse that presidents didn’t continue going to Pearl Harbor 22 years after the fact.
Defying Orders
The people of New Mexico are peacefully protesting Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s suspension of their open carry/second amendment rights in the city of Albuquerque. Anthony Fauci is predicting federal mask mandates could be coming back. A plan to eradicate the problems of the Deep State.
Gun Ban In A U.S. City
New Mexico Governor, Michelle Lujan Grisham, has issued an emergency order suspending the rights of citizens in Albuquerque and the surrounding county from carrying firearms in public. She says it’s an emergency public health order tied to increased violent crime. This is absolutely unconstitutional.
Mike Pence & Populism
Joy Behar says that Chris Christie is a “champion of the Left.” The GOP nomination for President is Trump’s to lose. No one else is even close in the polls. Mike Pence has come out against populism. The Inflation Reduction Act has not reduced inflation or benefited the U.S. economy.
Focusing On The Outcome
The "experts" are usually wrong. The View's, Sunny Hosten, is excited about Trump's indictment.
Most Corrupt In History
Representative James Comer (R) of Kentucky says Biden was the most corrupt VP in history. According to Comer, the possibility of an impeachment inquiry into President Biden & his business dealings with Hunter Biden is imminent. Canada issues a travel warning to their 2SLGBTQI+ citizens when visiting the U.S.
Recent Poll Shows A Landslide
A recent McLaughlin Poll shows that Donald Trump would beat President Biden in an electoral landslide if they were both the 2024 candidates & the election was held today. Trump leads Biden 47% to 43% in key battleground states.
